Return and Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at RBS.

If you are not completely satisfied, please let us know immediately as we are here to help you.


Please note that the below forms part of our Terms and Conditions policy and as such definitions defined within our Terms and Conditions policy have the same meaning below, unless otherwise stated.

 

Returns Form

Returns

You have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to return an item purchased from RBSIT. An eligible return must be in its original condition with packaging 100% intact and the item unused. You will be required to submit the original proof of purchase and delivery note with all returns.


All returns are reviewed within 48hours from date of receipt and you will be notified on the outcome thereof once the ticket has been completed.


Please ensure to log a return via our contact form (here) and that you adhere to the Shipping policy below.
If your refund is approved then you will have the option to receive the refund in any of the following methods:

  • Credit on your RBSIT account;
  • Instore credit for any instore purchases;
  • Electronic Refund.


Refunds are subject to the below.


The following items are not returnable or refundable:

  • Laptops or Desktop computers where the packaging has been tampered with or opened;
  • Headphones and Earphones;
  • Printer Consumables;
  • Any specially ordered item.

Refunds

Our refunds are processed electronically only and no exceptions are made. Please ensure that the details supplied when logging the refund request is correct as we are not responsible for omissions or errors. Electronic payments are subject to standard clearing times and may take up to 48hours to reflect in your account.


We will notify you on the status of the refund once the item has been fully inspected.

Shipping

The shipping of returns is for your own account and we are herewith indemnified in any losses due to errors, omissions or delivery failures. Please ensure that you log a return via our contact form (here) and include the courier’s name and waybill number when submitting the return.


Returns are only accepted from Monday to Friday.

 

Shipping fees are not refundable and will not be included when eligible refunds are processed.

Defective, Damaged Goods or incorrect item:

We will always to our utmost best to ensure that all purchases are well protected when shipped and that the correct items are included. However, errors do occur and we ask that we are notified immediately or within 7 calendar days.


Please include photos of the incorrect item(s) and/or damaged goods when logging a return.


Defective goods will be subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions, procedures and processes and is not that of RBSIT. The manufactures standard warranty processes will be followed and we will notify you electronically of the progress thereof. Please note that we have no control on how long this process may take, but that we guarantee that we will facilitate this process to the best of our ability to ensure the best possible outcome.


We have the right to refuse a return if all parts are not included and the goods are 100% complete.


The following is not regarded as defective goods:

  • Problems arising from normal wear and tear;
  • Damage arising from negligence, abuse or incorrect usage;
  • Damage arising from electrical surges or water corrosion/damage;
  • Damage arising from improper care;
  • Damage arising from any modifications or alterations;
  • If it is used outside of the prescribed method and/or not within in manufacturers specifications;
  • Unboxed or Open Box deals.


Manufacturing defects do not include software related issues and costs may apply for repairs. There is no warranty for uninterrupted or error free usage and no loan units are available.


Eligible warranties will be subject to the original warranty period and will hold the balance thereof.

Data Loss

We are hereby indemnified against any data loss you may occur due to returns, repairs or defective goods. Data recovery is also not covered by warranty and is not part of the warranty process. It is your own responsibility to maintain backups and prevent data loss.

Repairs:

It the event of goods requiring out of warranty repairs or repairs due to problems not covered by the manufactures warranty then a repair quote will be sent to you. Please note that the repair quotes are valid for 7 calendar days only.


All warranties and/or repairs must be collected within 30 calendar days, failure to do so will result in the goods being sold or disposed of.
